Air Fryer- do you have one? Is it used and what do you make?

I LOVE my air fryer! I mostly cook vegetables in it - fresh green beans, shredded brussels sprouts, broccoli, asparagus, okra, spinach (makes spinach crispy). Any veggie I toss with olive oil and seasoning then cook 10-15 minutes. It is like roasting them but a lot easier. I have cooked meatballs in it too, which worked very well. I have also done french fries, tater tots, chicken fingers, but our fave thing to do is veggies!

Yup! First one was “ taken” by kiddos apt and he uses it often. I got a replacement a couple weeks ago. I have a convection /oven but it takes too long to heat up, oven warms the house and it takes longer to cook. I Pd $50 on qvc and it sits on my counter, upon a wood carousel( which has those padded thingies under it so it moves easily on counter and protects counter as well) the basket is more rounded and I like it better than last oval shaped one.
I’ve cooked up coconut shrimp, veggies, cauliflower fries, turkey breakfast patties, bacon. Re-heated a few things as well.
Looking forward to doing chicken n steak shortly.
For us, an easy peasy way to make a healthier meal in a shorter time.

Obsessed! We use ours frequently. Our favorite is wings, but we’re constantly trying new things. Were doing it for the “healthy options”

We skipped wings this year. I wanted them, and had a package of frozen ones in the back freezer, but I have 2 kids in braces right now. I'll save the wings for another time...sigh!

Anything you would fry can go in there. We make fries, hash browns, wings, egg rolls, chimis, nuggets, ect. It’s also great for crisping up leftovers, or if you bring home food and your fries have gotten soggy.

I have a convention oven and use a copper basket. It doesn't compare to the air fryer. We make wings, steak, pork chops, chicken...pretty much anything. I love how the wings turn out. I make sure to shake the basket to make sure they get browned on all sides. I think my wings are as good as any restaurant.

The airfryer is the best countertop appliance you can buy. I make toast in it, wings, reheating anything (especially a slice of pizza!), I take the grill plate out and sautee/roast vegetables in the basket including cabbage, brussel sprouts, potatoes. I make homemade gluten free chicken tenders, and have even roasted an entire chicken in it in half the time it takes in a conventional oven, plus you don't have to wait to preheat anything. It really is the best!

If you are a Facebooker, try the group called Air Fryer Tips and Recipes. Lots of good info there!

Love my air fryer wings!
I also do large drumsticks in it too and they come out great.
I got it for Christmas and have done mostly appetizer stuff- potato skins, fries, onion rings and of course wings.
I really want to try scallops in it this week but I do worry about over cooking them in it.
I've got a cookbook full of recipes to try.

I have a toaster oven with an air fryer. Conveniently one less thing on my counter top. As folks have said, fries, wings, anything that I would fry or saute comes out really well.
