Air conditioning in December?

Just wondering if the Disney resorts are air conditioned during the winter. I actually prefer a cool environment for sleeping. During my travels, I have found that many hotels turn off the air conditioning to each room. I would like to know if the air conditioning in each room is controlled by the guest or does the resort control the temp? Can we keep the balcony doors open if the room gets too hot? Are there screens on the balcony doors to prevent bugs and little critters from coming in? Thanks!:wave2:

I'm like you - I keep the room ac on high in December, January, etc. I found that the rooms cool off nicely even during the winter.

There are also ceiling fans above the beds. No screens on the doors, though.

The All Stars and pop Century do not have the ceiling fans above the beds.

that we will be staying at WL. Not sure if this matters. Thanks to everyone who has posted to my thread, so far.

Have fun at the Lodge, Randy!!:wave2:

We stayed at BCV this past December and the A/C was on in our room. It was quite chilly as a matter of fact, so we ended up turning the A/C down somewhat.

You should be fine.
