I feel very sad I did not get in on the pedi-talk. I tried to log on several times over the past 2 days, but got distracted by too many things. It was great to have 2 pages to catch up on though. The pedi talk was much nicer than the snow talk (and yes, most of that was from me. we are getting more tonight

) But I will add one more tip. If you are not looking for a glamourous look, cut your nails VERY SHORT before going to the salon. They seem to just snip a little and file. They last much longer if they are short and your feet look daintier. I have gone well over a month! Then yes, bring your own polish so you can touch up when they start growing out.
Thanks for the tip on getting "mickey's" painted on the nails

. My DD said she wanted palm trees. They are a little grown up for her, but understood she was going for a "vacation" look. She will be so happy to hear they can do Mickey's. I never thought of it. Just 3 little circles.
One other pre-vacation pampering tip. Instead of getting braids on board if any of you were thinking of it, I take DD to a hair salon. We have a "snip its" in our area. It only cost us $20-25 for a hair wrap. The last time she got one in Disney, it cost $45-50. I do not even know if they do "wraps" maybe just braids which would be a lot more I would think. But she doesn't care.
I have another question. Does anyone know if they accept disney $$ on the ship

. We give it to our kids every christmas to spend in disney. It helps to curb the souvenier spending. Its amazing how they think twice about wanting something when they have to use their own $$.
Of course I am sad, they are phasing out the dollars and moving on to the "gift cards". Its just not the same. I should stock up on all I can now for future trips.
