Ahoy! Sailing the Wonder 2/8/09

I've never done one myself either. On my first cruise there was a group of us that just brought gifts for each other. We ended up linking our reservations together and all sat at the same table at dinner. It was so much fun. I would be willing to help facilitate it if we all wanted to do it.

I am up for the FE exchange. Some of the best surprises have been items from a sailor's hometown or home made items. One year I got a lip balm with the cruise dates on it, very cool. I have enjoyed when there were small drop offs of a sweet, etc. Or a scrapped frame for a photo, etc. It would be easier if we have a list of Dis Names and cabin numbers to deliver too. I have done magnets that were special to the cruise with dates in the past, don't know what I am doing this cruise, but we still have time.

Hi all, im back!
Been off the forums for a bit. Been busy at work. We had a blast on our 7 day Magic cruise last month and really looking forward to the Feb 4 days on the wonder. We just booked a Palo brunch for the girls in our gang. That is on the sea day. Unfortunately we dont get involved in the FE's, but we do the door decorating with magnets......

That stinks!!!!

I just got an Email update that the launch scheduled for the 12th is scheduled now for 7:30am... we won't be able to make it there, if that's the case... Bummer! Even worse, we won't be able to tour the KSC for the rest of the day, because of the launch...

I really wanted to take the kids to see the space center!!!!

I guess I'll keep watching to see if they will change it again... the guy at KSC reservations said that it may change several more times before the tickets go on sale.

Here's hoping!!

Very Bad, if you wanted to head over to KennedySC, yes!

But good in that you can grab breakfast up at the buffet and sit up there to watch the launch from the starboard side of the ship before having to leave the ship.

It will be interesting to see if the schedule changes again. Hopefully it will be better for those who are hoping to head over for a tour.
