DVC was able to add the Code to my ressie today. The CM I got had just been given the e-mail on the offer. Very cool.

Remember all if you are a Castaway Cay member you can book excursions, Palo and Flounder's next Monday (Nov/10/08) at 12 am EST (so Sunday night very late for most of us.)

If this is your first cruise with DCL, then your booking day would be Tuesday November 25th at 12 am.

We are almost to Christmas and DH and I have managed to keep this trip a secret so far! I hope we can make it because we are getting really excited! We are making a DVD of pictures from our last cruise to the tune of "Anchor's Away" and the last slide will be this poem: (or something like this)

We are in Gahanna! Not far at all...

How exciting! We are going with several families and there is another girl my DD's age (7) but no one for DS.

I am tripping over myself I am so excited now!! We were already booked for the Land/Sea with 4 days on land... with the new promotion code that's out we added 3 more nights at the Poly for $300 more ...

THEN we get the $200 gift card back

AND that puts us in Disney for DS's 9th birthday so he gets a $63 gift card for the amount of his one day ticket!!!!

We changed our airfare and got a $40 credit because the flight price has gone down

Finally, because we're changing it from a Land / Sea to two separate ressies... my TA can add the Bounce back offer!!!!!


So maybe, the $40 airline credit can be used toward a $99 girl's getaway next fall!!!!!

OMGoodness!!! I can hardly wait to tell the kids..!!!

For any of you that are doing the Christmas surprise... I found two Barbie's that are PERFECT for this big reveal!!!

The new Barbie "I Can Be" doll is an .... ASTRONAUT!!!
Great for the space shuttle gift!!!

AND

Believe it or not, there is a Barbi swims with dolphins too!!! She has snorkle gear on and there are two dolphins in the pack with her!!!

YEAH!!!!

I am loving getting ready to tell them as much as the thought of actually going!!!

When we stayed at the Grand Floridian, I contated the concierge at the hotel and they arranged everything for me. If this doesn't work - ask you TA, they should know.

Finally I found this thread. I guess I am not good at this searching thing. Grandpa and I are taking our granddaughter age 8 and grandson age 4 and can not wait. This is their first cruise and our first Disney cruise. Since we are from Huntsville, AL (NASA) we are very excited about the possible shuttle launch too. Unfortunately, historically most launches do not occur on their original launch date but can't help but think we will be lucky. We would love to participate in the FEs if I can get it all together. This is going to be the grandkids Christmas gifts so all the ideas of how to present it to them is great...keep them coming. Also, if there are any other girls in GD's age range maybe we could set up a thread or something for them to get to know each other a little before the cruise. Sorry this is so long, I am just getting really excited to go.

Good morning all! I was able to get online and book my Palo Brunch and Dinner and also my spa apppointment and shore excursions. I guess I calculatede the time difference wrong so I was pleasantly suprised to log in a little after 11 pm here instead of staying up until midnight!

89 more days!

Welcome plaidsmom1! This will be a wonderful trip with your DGKs.

Jill, I forgot and didn't log on until 12:30 am and was able to get both Palo dinner on the first night, Lumiere's is my least favorite restaurant that that is where we usually start. And Palo brunch at noon on Wednesday without any issues, easiest on-line booking yet. Don't know if we are keeping both, but will decided soon if we want to cancel either.

I did book the Segway tour in Nassau. I booked for the early tour, just me, DM won't be segwaying anytime soon, lol. This is a warm up for Segway tour of Barcelona, I hope to take in 2010.

I'm still waffling on the Segway tour. I read some good things about it so I might change my ressie.

I have no idea what my dining rotation is so I put my Palo dinner on Nassau night but it is at 6:30. Of course when it came time to make my ressies I couldn't find any info on dining rotations and what night Pirate night was. If the ship is still pretty empty I might be able to move my ressies around onboard. I'm cruising solo so maybe that will help me if I need to trade days. I'm doing brunch at 10 AM on Wednesday....gives me enough time to digest before dinner!
