Wow, I would probably have never checked for an upgrade had I not seen it here..... only myself and my two daughters.... was at a cat 9, now a cat 6 with a veranda! 5144..... Still sitting here in shock! Thanks for the heads up!

What a small world, we were upgraded to the stateroom next door!

Thanks to all who agreed to let my sisters and I join in on the FE exchange! We really appreciate it. We are really looking forward to our girl's trip. We've been busy since summer taking care of our elderly parents. My dad passed away in August after a horrible fall. It has been a difficult time, but a week split between WDW and DCL is just what the doctor ordered for us. We chose this week because it is my baby sister's birthday (Lynda) on 11/11 so we are celebrating all week. Good excuse as any, right?

I am getting a few days reprieve from this winter weather we are having quite early. Yesterday's 4 inches of snow is just not right! The hard freeze the last few nights has pretty much killed fall. The flowers are so done and the trees don't know what to do. Some trees dropped all their leaves on Saturday after the first night of 20 degree weather and the leaves were still green. Something just didn't look right to see green leaves on the ground along with a coating of snow. My DD17 and I are heading to WDW for the F&W Festival and MNSSHP. Hopefully this mini winter spell will be over with when we get back.

So, I am reading about only having 3 weekends left before the cruise. Yikes, with WDW this weekend, I guess I only have 2 weekends to do things for the cruise. Better get in gear as soon as I get back from WDW.

Looking forward to seeing all of you at the meet and around the ship.

OK since I am new here I have a few questions. Who do I need to talk to about joining in the FE fun? I did see that I could order them or make them so depending on how quickly I can clear the Halloween costumes out of the sewing queue I may just make ours. Anyway, I have been reading the boards and this is definitely something that my kids would enjoy doing so if it is not too much trouble could someone please fill me in. Thanks LOL I am normally not this far behind...my husband likes to say that I am ready to go on vacation about a month before our trips but this time I feel like I am behind.

Hey guys!

Just wanted to make a quick post about the FE sign up. As most of you know we had opted to close the FE sign up back on 10/2 to allow for ample time for preparation. While I have extended the deadline a few days I am going to have to close the sign up. I have gotten input from most of the group and with school schedules and vacations prior to the cruise it just isn't possible to keep adding to the group.

A lot of us chose to order items instead of make them and b/c of this an exact quantity was ordered which doesn't allow for much wiggle room.

While the FE sign up is closed we would love to have everyone come to the dis meet. It will be at 3pm (11/12) by the Goofy Pool (Port side I believe, Laura or Mike chime in if I am wrong).

Thanks for everyone's understanding hope everyone has a MAGICAL day!

Hello All! Welcome to all of you new folks!
Tracey, Michael was sitting here next to me while I was catching up and was excited to see his buddy, Nick, in a picture. We are all getting so fired up !
I just completed the conclusion to this "dang" ( G rated version ) paper I am writing for class and feel like I am rejoining the human race again.
I am starting to think that our DIS meet is gonna be so big the ship is going to list to one side!
Sue in MN, so sorry to hear about your Dad. You are in good company here with lots of folks who simply NEED a vacation
It won't be long now before we are all in warmer weather! Still can't decide if I want my toes tropical pink or fire engine red

Hey gang! I think I have all my paperwork finished. I did all the online check-in stuff, rental car, parking garage, flights, hotel...why do I feel like I'm missing something...???

So right now all I should have to do is pack and get FE gifts. I have some pretty busy weekends coming up, so this trip is going to be here quicker than I think.

I've been stalking the weather station and all looks really good...keeping sending that pixie dust!!!

Hope the weather stays beautiful. We have had great weather every single year going this same week with the exception of last year where it was colder than it had been in 40 years. There was no rain though last year, even though the temps were a bit colder.

Got the suitcases out, clothes are sitting in the corner of my dining room. Feel good making some progress.

Favor: Anyone have a good printer and extra magnet paper? My printer is not very good. I only want one magnet, will have the design made by someone on disboards, just need someone to print it for me. I will pay ya for the magnetic paper... or is there somewhere I can order online????
