Ahoy Me hearties(WITH LINKS ON PG 1). Last day posted 10/17. DEC PTR STARTED W/LINK

Love me some chips and salsa from Chili's. Yum! Yum! I hate to hear that Dale was feeling poorly. Thankfully, in those 2000 pieces of luggage you packed, there was Lysol and Pepto.

I sure hope that the rest of your trip didn't involve you, Lysol and Pepto.

I would love to have some chips and salsa right now yummmmmm. Well, Dale just kept our "somebody gets sick every time we go to Disney" streak alive. One of those bags was our 'medical' bag...........:rotfl:.

Thank goodness the Pepto and Lysol were retired Sunday afternoon......:cool1::woohoo:.

Dana, looks like a good time at Epcot. I love the Photopass pics of you and Dallas. I'm sorry that Dale wasn't feeling well and hope you don't end up with it for the rest of the trip.

Thanks Kathy :). The pp photog was a new guy so he wanted to do some of the cute shots. I'm glad we all got better rather quickly.

I've only eatten at Chillis a couple of times and it was really good, but judging by your experience I don't think I will be dining at the one in orlando lol

OH NO!! It wasn't Chili's that made us sick.........It was Backlot Express at Hollywood Studios that made us sick.

That Hooters you are thinking of: Take a left at the light facing Crossroads Plaza & then take a right at the next light & another right into the plaza on that street (it isn't too far down the road). I only know it is there because there is a $5 all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, and salad buffet in the same plaza. I love that place!!
That is awful that Dale got sick. Did you just get chills or were you sick, too??
I think it is really cool that we will be there at the same time in December!! I'm still undecided on a resort, though. I have just about a month to decide if I'm going to book that bounceback offer!

I swear the food at DHS is just :scared1: Your night shots at Epcot are very nice! Sorry about the spooky road no fun. Poor Dale

We found it....:lmao:. That is where we ended up eating on Sunday.

I ended up just having the chills . I was worried that I was going to have a bad case of food poisoning, but thankfully it wasn't.

We have to meet up in December. I'm looking so forward to seeing all the Christmas lights and parades.

Yeah I know :scared1:. I know ya'll just went through all the salmonella stuff at your house so you don't need to get into anything else. I was about to panic when Dallas and I were going down that road . It was a very dark and deserted road. Oh and poor Dale :rolleyes1, you know how it is when men get sick :rolleyes1.

One week from today you will be at Disney and one week ago today I WAS at Disney......:sad1:. The time leading up to a trip takes forever, but the trip itself flies by.

Hey Connie . I know I always pack a lot, but I'm always worried I will need something if I don't pack it.........LOL. Can you believe that in all that I forgot to pack my flip flops and I had to wear my Sketchers to the pool :lmao:.

We did have a good time, but it was over WAY TOO SOON.

I have GOT to finish this TR so I can start my December PTR :rolleyes1.

When I last left you Dale was dealing the Montezuma Revenge and I was freezing to death with chills.

I had set a wake up call for 7:30am; the phone rang and for some reason there was just dead air. What no Stitch today? Dale woke up when the phone rang too so we started getting ready. He said he was feeling MUCH better and so was I, so LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE.....or go to Epcot.....:rotfl:. Dallas woke up shortly after Dale and I, so we were out the door around 9:00 ish. We decided to stop at McDonald's and get some breakfast. We got 3 McGriddles and 2 Frappe's. For some reason, known only to him, Dale wanted to park at the TTC and ride the monorail over to Epcot.

For anybody that wants to ride along; here is a video of the monorail ride over to Epcot.

We make it in the park about 9:30.

Of course, we had to get a few PP pix on our way in

We get in the park and head straight over to Soarin'. I got us FP and we got in the stand by line with a wait time of 20 minutes. We got on and Dallas got his wish..............FRONT ROW :cheer2::dance3:. Honestly, I had to close my eyes on the lift off because I know it goes WAY up; 40 feet up that is. I do have to admit though; it was AMAZING to be on the front row. After our vacation over sunny Cali. we went to SSE and learned about communication...........again. Dallas and Dale rode together and I rode alone.

Dallas says the burning smell on this ride reminds him of bacon cooking :lmao:. This will always be my favorite ride at Epcot because it is an original Epcot ride. Even though it has been updated, unless I'm mistaken, it is one of the few rides left at Epcot that was there the first time I went. The only other I can remember is Living with the Land.

After we got off SSE we walked through Innoventions, to stay cool, and went to TT. I got us FPs, since we were within our time frame, and we got in the standby line. I think the wait time was 30 minutes or so, but it seemed to go faster. Now, I have to say I was about to FREAK OUT when we got in the car. Dallas and I got our seat belts on, but Dale could not get his to fasten :scared1::eek::scared1::eek:. I was fighting with the seat belt for him and COULD NOT get him latched. Needless to say I started to PANIC; now for those that know me you know this means I was getting PIZZED. The night before, when Dallas and I rode TT, the seat belt check was really non-existent. So we get to the seat belt check and I yell at the CM......"WE CAN'T GET HIS SEAT BELT TO LATCH".........the car stops and I FINALLY get it to latch. I can't imagine what the family in the front seat was thinking :lmao:. So off we go...........

epcotsept20105.jpg

After we got off the ride Dale said he wasn't worried about the seat belt. He said he thought we were going to need a crane to get him out of the back seat anyway because his knees were so wedged against the back of the seat that he didn't think he would get out any other way..........:rotfl2:. So note to self NEVER RIDE IN THE BACK SEAT WITH DALE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

It was now time to head back to Soarin' and use our FPs, but first we went to Club Cool to get something to drink. I fell in love with the Coke purse, but not at the price :scared1:. We get back to Soarin', and when we were walking through the line, this couple in the standby line cut through a gate between the two lines and got in front of us. When we got to the top of the line and the CM asked for FPs this couple did not have one, but he let them through anyway :scared1:. I wondered "Why bother getting FPs if they let people cheat the system?" We ended up on the 3rd row this time and needless to say Dallas was not happy :sad2:.

I wanted to see Captain EO, because I had seen it the first time I went, but Dale did not want to see it soooooooo. We went over to see Universe of Energy for Dallas and headed back in time with Ellen to learn about energy. By the time we got off Ellen's ride we were getting hungry and after Saturday's food debacle we were NOT going to eat at a CS again. We headed to the monorail station to go back to the TTC.

My favorite monorail

We got to ride it back to the TTC.

The monorail ride back to the TTC....yes you can hear us talking in the back ground, and boy do we sound southern.........lol.

We had been wanting to eat at Hooters for a while and I found the address. We were able to go straight to it this time :yay.

This was our first time at Hooters, but it will NOT be our last; it was GREAT. Our waitress was Maya and she took very good care of us. The cool thing was; our table was right under the "zip line".........:rotfl2:.

Dallas at Hooters.

I didn't get pictures of our food, but it was delish. I got the fried dill pickles (YUM, YUM, YUM)for an appy and Dale ordered the loaded tater tots for him and Dallas. I had a pina colada that was sooooooooo good. For our main course I had one of the best Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches I have ever eaten. Dale got a ????????????? of course.......hamburger and Dallas got a hot dog. I have to say the water here was actually drinkable. The food was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD. I took most of mine back to the room as I pigged out on the fried dill pickles. Our total price for two appys, three meals, Pepsi's for Dale and Dallas and a pina colada for me was $48.

After lunch we went back to the room for naps with the plans to head over to MK for EMH.

More to come later...........

Thanks Kathy :). It surprised me that the CM did not say a word to them . If it had been me they would have escorted me out of the park....:scared1:.

I'm glad you enjoyed the monorail video. The Tronorail video wasn't that good because of the design on the window.

I know you are getting very excited about your trip :yay:.
