I can't believe our time to go is here . It seems like it was so long ago that we were there . Dallas got a DSi, a Mario game and the accessory pack to go with the DSi. I was going to do all of it today, but I decided to do his birthday dinner and stuff yesterday. I'm glad I did, because it took me a while to bake everything.

I hope the storms stay away too. I'm more concerned with Gaston and what it may do after we get home .

Have a great, safe, & super fun trip Dana! I am headed to LA on Sunday morning. We are staying at the HoJo across from DL Sunday and Monday. Tuesday I am moving over to the Renaissance in Long Beach. Joe is going to hang out and check out the sites while I am working. Lucky Dog! We are coming back on Thursday afternoon. The plan is to hang out at DL Sunday afternoon and all day Monday. Tues-Weds we will be checking out Long Beach and other touristy stuff in the evenings. I plan to take a lot of pics. I really hope we can catch World of Color. I've been wanting to see it since I saw a sneak peek on the Disney Channel.

from what I read on the internet earlier today (Danny wanted an update) it seems to be predicted to head up the Atlantic, too. Kinda like Danielle did...but, as you know it is too soon to know for sure...just pray they are right!

I've been to both....DL too, and DL doesn't compare. It's LOTS smaller, not so spread out....parking sucks. lots of the same stuff, some different, I wish they could bring some of the cooler rides to florida, like matterhorn, and alice in wonderland, and roger rabbit car toon spin...that one was fun!!

Ok, I had to go to youtube and look at the rides you mentioned....... The Matterhorn looks like a cross between BTM and EE.....

I know ya'll are excited about your trip . I know you don't care for flying though. Are the girls staying with family? Take lots and lots of pictures. I am thinking about doing a photo TR on this trip and just post pix.

We left the house at around 12:30pm CST; we are crossing the time line right............. now.................lol.......... and it is now 5:08pm EST, so we are making good time.

Thanks, Dana. Everything went well--he ended up not needing a stent and we were hope by 1 p.m. 11 days and counting....

Hey Christie We did have fun, but hot is an understatement . I did get some sun when we went to the pool, but nothing bad. We stayed well hydrated and took several inside breaks, but...............more on that later. I saved you some fun though, I didn't want to use it all up before December either .

Thank you . It only rained on us Sunday and after the rain is when the humidity shot through the roof. I wish the humidity had stayed away for a few more days .

Good idea with the gift cards. I find that Dallas wants less when he has his own money to spend. He found several things this trip, but when I would ask him if he was sure that is what he wanted to spend his money on; he would change his mind..........

I have been trying to get all of my pictures loaded so I could start my mini TR, but photobucket is being very difficult tonight. I will start with what pictures I have and then continue when I get the rest loaded.

Friday, September 3rd.
I did not get in the bed until 4am Friday morning . I just could not sleep. Dale was up at 5am for work and left the house at 6am. I dozed back off for a while then I was up at 8am. I finished up the packing, made sandwiches, and packed the ice chest.

This is how much I took for 3 nights

Isn't that sad???? Why in the world would I need all that for 3 nights .

I loaded the van and hooked Dallas' DVD player up so he could watch movies on the way. Dale was home around noon and we pulled out of the driveway at 12:25pm CST. We arrived at All Star Sports at 9:59pm EST. We pretty much have our trips down to 8 1/2 hours which isn't bad. I love online check in; it is great . I had requested ground floor, near transportation and we got just that. We were in building 10 which was right next to the food court/lobby and main pool. We were in room 164. We ordered a pizza from the food court and while we waited for them to deliver it, I got everything unpacked and set up our wake up call for 6am. It took about 20 minutes for the pizza to arrive and after we ate we got our showers and hit the bed. I still didn't sleep well, sleeping with Dallas is like fighting a prized fighter in the fight for the title........

We had a good trip down, and the new van was WONDERFUL.
