JetBlue extended their schedule this afternoon, so I was able to book our flight for Dec 4-11. Yahooooo!!! :cool1:

Now I just need my BLT waitlist to come through. But if it doesn't, that's okay.....I'll be at Disneeeeeeeeey!!!

With the flights booked, it is always "official". Enjoy your trip - what a magical time to go! :santa:

I did the same thing last night since JB extended their schedule:thumbsup2. I had a $25 credit so the price shock wasn't too bad. But I did think the price was a bit high for the first day tickets were available:confused3.

I completely agree. I paid more per ticket for the early December flights than I did for the March flights (which were part of Spring Break). I notice that the price has already gone up $20 on one of the flights I booked. Geez.....what will the price be a month from now?

I just checked flights for the first week of November, which is when we will be traveling in the future and the price is DOUBLE! What the heck??? The airline is truly taking advantage of the fact that many schools in NJ are closed that week and families go to Disney. I guess we have to somehow pay for all the money the airlines lost due to the volcano. Disgraceful.

It went up $20 for us too today. I got a little nervous because of all the cancelled flights to Europe with the Iceland volcano catastrophe and was worried about them making up all the millions per day that they lost. The good thing is that if the price drops you can get them to put it into an account that you can use for a future flight:thumbsup2. I didn't know this until someone told me here on the boards when I booked my last flight with JB. In my experience lately though Jet Blue flights just continue to go up, not down.

Thanks for the info -- I'll keep my eye on it. I kept an eye on my March flights and they never went down -- only up. I imagine the December flights will be the same.

Enjoy your trip! :rotfl:

We love Jet Blue! Our DD likes the Direct TV. We booked direct flights both ways for our next trip for $124. round trip!

Awecome for you! :thumbsup2

But they screwed us bad, we were trying to fly our Jan 3rd to the 15th...wifes doing the marathon and they only go out to the 4th. And the prices are out of site! Looks like a 1400+ mile trip is on our list next year! Ugh!

Wow.....that's an awesome price! I got $109 down and $132 back. Where do you flight out of? We never see prices like that out of Newark unless it's a last minute sale -- and even then it's no less than $79 one way.

I wanted to ask them the same thing as I go out of Newark on JB as well.

I did the same booking our flights for Nov 8-13 and the next morning one of the flights had jumped by $20, I rather take my chances and book if the fares go down like someone said I heard you can get a credit(have never done that, so not sure),but seems the fares rising is the more likely senario.

Not sure about JB but I know South West is soooo easy to rebook on line if the fare (even if it is 1 leg of the flight) goes down. I noticed my fare went down by 30.00 and when I called SW they walked me thru rebooking the lower fare on line and ended up with a travel credit which needs to be used within a year of the BOOKING date. Anyone can use the travel credit not just the person on the ressie. When I rebooked the portion of the flight that went down i got a 44.00 refund since the outbound flight went down and the return flight had gone up but I did not have to rebook the return, I was very pleased and now motivated to keep checking the flights every few days on future flights.

I so wish that Atlanta could get Jet Blue - - their prices on flights are so incredible! Koodos to everyone who got the super cheap fares. :goodvibes

I just booked my December flight on JetBlue the other day! Can't wait. Of course, I should probably get geared up for the two trips I have before that as well ;)

Booked Jet Blue for December....Xmas week $700.00 per person roundtrip. DH and I decided we wanted non-stop and we are going with all our kids and DGD for our 35th anniversary so we splurged.

Wow - that's a great price. I haven't seen a price like that in a long time. FWIW - I've been checking the flight I booked for May and it was as high as $320 a couple of week ago and it's now down to $256. I paid $210 so I still have a ways to go but anyone who booked at the $320 price, if they call, should get $64 in their Jet Blue bank account.

I only do non-stop as well. Wow....$700??? :scared1:

Where are you flying from? That airfare is criminal.

YAY - just booked our JB flights for 12/4 - 12/11. :cool1: First time on JB - they just started flying from Hartford. Not too bad. I got $159 one way but $69 back so $228 RT (before taxes/fees). We're going direct too. I could have gotten cheaper, but I liked these times and don't mind paying a little extra. I like the fact that we have assigned seats. We'd always fly SW but it's too stressful trying to get seats together. It was a little easier last time since they had the early bird check-in but it's an extra $20 RT. PLUS (and we almost screwed ourselves with this) you HAVE to be at the gate 45 min prior to the flight leaving to make sure you're there to line up. Otherwise, if you get there late, your boarding number doesn't mean anything! :scared1: When we arrived near the gate, our group was already boarding so we had to run to get in line...:sad2:

We got Direct flights both ways... we're flying out of Rochester, NY. Fare was $62 each way. With taxes/fees it was $436. for the three of us. 1st checked bag is free too!
