Before I begin, I just want to thank everyone again for their wonderful wishes on our engagement! We really appreciate them all!!!

The next morning, we headed out not-yet-bright and early for a breakfast that Wingnut was especially excited for: Boma! This had been one of his favorites from the year before, and so we were sure to fit it in to our schedule.
One of the downfalls (
that weve seen already in this TR) of writing a trip report months after the trip without having taken notes is the occasional forgetting of details.
Such as the detail of how we actually got to AKL that morning.
In the spirit of those create your own adventure books that I used to love (Did anyone else have the self-declared rule that if you chose one adventure and it ended up with you tumbling off a cliff or something, if you hadnt moved your finger from the previous page you had segued from, you could take it back and try for another, less catastrophic, ending?), here are the two potential paths we could have taken:
1. Stringbean and Wingnut take a bus from the Poly to Animal Kingdom.
Stringbean dances to the music along the way. They then take a bus from the Animal Kingdom to AKL.
2. They take a cab from the Polynesian to AKL.
(Neither path ends with any cliffs or other calamities, so whichever sounds more likely to you is fine by me!)
Through whatever method of transportation that we chose that morning, we made it to Boma right around as they were opening, and were quickly seated, but not before I took some blurry photos from the podium area.
The view from our table:
Wingnut, as per usual, ordered the POG/Jungle/Frunch juice with his breakfast.
I, as per usual, did not.
My plate:
Here we have quinoa (loved), cinnamon raisin French toast (great), bobotie (loved), pap (bland, but still good), asparagus (just asparagus), goat cheese eggs (GREATEST THING EVER ON THE PLANET

), and a banana macadamia nut muffin (great). And orange juice (not Frunch, so I was happy

).
Wingnut's plate:
Quinoa ("always good"), bobotie ("a corned beef hash thing. Not the same bobotie I've had in the past, it was a different meat last time"), carved meats and sauces ("loved"). And his POG juice ("sweet and wonderful").
My second plate:
More bobotie (I told you I loved it!), a strawberry (seriously, HOW does Disney make their strawberries so great??), a sticky bun (fabulous), potatoes (I assume good, no notes on these), and some African fruit salad (unfortunately the fruit was a bit bitter and underripe in this batch).
Wingnut's second plate:
African fruit salad ("fruit VERY underripe, disappointing"), goat cheese eggs ("always fantastic"), cinnamon raisin French toast ("I liked it"), asparagus (no notes here either), sticky bun ("AWESOME").
We are always big fans of Boma for breakfast, despite the hike it usually is for us to get there. But they do have some great unique buffet offerings, and well, when there's great unique buffet offerings, there we usually are too!
Full of various delicious breakfast items, we made our way over to the bus stop, where it was a bit busy, especially around the MK stop, which is where we were heading. We briefly wondered if this would be an indication of the crowds that morning, but still were determined to get in another MK morning during our trip. An MK bus pulled up, along with a second MK bus right behind it. We were able to get aboard the second bus, and were soon on our way!
(If you're thinking that it made absolutely no sense for us to go to AKL from the Poly to go back to the MK, well, yes, you are correct. I'm not sure why I planned it this way either!

)
