Ugh. I have very few complaints about online shopping. Toys R Us is one of them.
I had a list of 6 things I needed. 5 of them out of stock online. So I waited a week and few of those things became available. I made my order, and got a confirmation number. I then immediately got an email that 2 items weren't available and had been removed from my order. This put my total under the 100 I needed for free shipping and all of a sudden I was paying shipping.
But hey! That's o.k., because I did get an email the next day saying my gift cards didn't work and they cancelled the entire order! You know.. the gift cards that had a full balance that I checked on their website before I made the purchase.
Sooooooo.. I call customer service. They can't tell me why the gift cards aren't working.. but my order is cancelled. But the gift cards were charged.
So my non working gift cards did in fact work. They now had my money, had cancelled my order and it would take 5 days to get my money back.


When all was said and done, I finally went back to make another order, the sale was over, they wouldn't honor the sale prices from my order the week before and I had to find new stuff again.
I won't use their online shopping ever again.
