Well we have a two days left on our old ticket. We need one more day it is $94 for a one day ticket. A ten day non expiring ticket is $709. We normally use 3 days a trip. A 3 day ticket expiring ticket is $289.
So using fuzzy disney math. 709 - 94 = 615. If the 3 day ticket goes up $9 that would be 298 . 615 - 298 = 317. Then the next set 3 day ticket 317 - 298. Last set 3 day tickets $19.
Or buy one ticket from USSSA store $85 and get 3 day expiring tickets as we go.
Hmmmmm

It does not matter how you count, all reasonable options for a one day ticket ~$95. So, just get one-day ticket, and be done with it.

That makes absolutely no sense.

Using your numbers:
A 1-day ticket is going to cost you $94/day (I'm not sure where you're finding that price, the gate price for a non-MK ticket is $94 for a child but $100 for an adult)
A 10-day no-expiry ticket is going to cost you ~$71/day.
A 3-day expiring ticket is going to cost you ~$96/day

The only thing that matters is what it costs you OOP. Adding in possible savings by speculating what a ticket price increase might be is just a red herring. Playing around with the numbers so that the first days are the most expensive and the last days are unbelievably cheap is just misleading.

Obviously, the 10-day no-expiry is the cheapest way to go IF you have the money available to sink into tickets right now and IF you can divide those tickets over multiple visits without having to purchase additional days (as you find yourself needing to do now).

I got $94 from a disney go site for a non MK day. Got $289 price from undercover tourist

We can buy one day ticket this trip. $94 each.

Future trip 2. If we bought a three day ticket $289 each

Future trip 3. Another 3 day ticket $289

Future trip 4: another 3 day ticket $289.

= 10 entries

$94 + 289 + 289 + 289 = 961. Divided by 10 = 96.1

Or non expiring 10 day ticket $709 now. Divided by 10 = 70.9.

Need to decide do we want to have that money tied in in tickets. For fun I want to go find my receipt for my first set of non expiring 10 day tickets.

I would just buy the one day ticket, for me $710 is alot of money to lay out. Wait until your next trip to buy the non-expiring tickets.

Personally ... We love the 10 day no exp! But we add the hopper and water park plus... Essentially adding another 10 days to our vacations! However ... We have children that "LOVE". Disneyquest and water parks!

What is a "Disney go" site? If you mean disneyworld.com they add tax to those ticket prices so it comes to $101 for a 1-day ticket.
We are in the same boat. We are used to having a 10-day NE ticket, using it occasionally, which are finally used up. We only need a 1-day ticket for a pre-cruise stay. The per day price drops with a 10-day NE but I don't want to shell out all that money now for a someday trip. We used to be certain that future visits would be in the not so distant future. Not so much any more.

I plan to buy the 1-day tickets and deal with a future trip when it happens.

If future trips are in your plans in the next 2 years, and you have the cash, I would get the 10 day NE, but I also agree about adding WP&M. If you can do 2 parks days and 2 WP&M days, you can stretch your vacation dollar A LOT and make those tickets last for an extra trip. Also, if you think you will go to O and not do WDW, such as Univ, SW, etc., then the WP&M can be used on those trips. We have stretched our WDW no-expire tickets by adding a SW fun pass for $90PP, going to SW for 2-3 days and then just used WP&M for WP and DQ. Plus, even after your WDW are done, you will likely have WP&M left over, which can be used when your kids are older. We have 5 WP&M left PP from tickets that we got 8 years ago. It's nice to be able to pop over to a WP or DQ as a family without paying $45 PP now.
