Age limit for hair salon?

Just wondering if there is an age limit for the hair salon? I would like to get an updo on formal night for my daughter (10) and myself.

I am not quite sure of the answer to this. In looking at all of my past navigators it shows that the hair stuff is done in the spa and the spa is limited to guests over 18 years of age. I cant imagine that they would make the hairstyle the same but one never knows. HMMM..you have a good question and one that I probably never thought about but might want to do an updo for my 10 year old dd as well...

It will be interesting to see what other VETS of the DCL know!

On our cruise in September, my daughter, age 13, had her hair done in the salon, but she was with my other daughter who got married that day on Castaway Cay. I don't know if they allowed her in because of the wedding, or if the age limit doesn't apply for the hair salon.
Others in our group had their hair braided and put in an up-do by the hair braiders that are now on the ship. This was on te Wonder, not sure about the Magic.
If it were me, and I really wanted to know ahead of time, I'd call DCL, either the excursion desk, or reservations....someone is bound to know.

I knew about the age limit for the spa but I am hoping that we can do this. I bought a tiara to go with her formal dress. It would look SOOO cute with an updo. I however have never been any good at doing hair.

Please post to the board when you learn about the age limit! I would love to get my daughter's hair done but I'm hopeless with hair. I can't even put barettes in straight.

Oh I would love for my twins to be able to get thier hair done on their birthday (they will turn 11 on the cruise next year).

Please let us know if you find out it is possible. This would be a wonderful surprise for them!

During our cruise last March I tried to book my 12 year old in the salon for a doo - but was told there was an age limit - which I think was 18.

You too, huh? I'm hopelessly pathetic with hair. That's why mine is cut short over the ears and my dd has a bob.
