Can we gate check both a single Bob jogging stroller and either carryon or gate check a small umbrella stroller if the kids are ages 5 and 7? The jogger would be best for manuevering through the airport, but I'd like to have the umbrella stroller with us so we'd have a stroller for each kid at the parks. The 7 yr old tends to tire easier than the 5 yr old sometimes, but I wasn't sure if the kids would be considered "too old" for us to be allowed 1 stroller per kid for the flight.

I don't know the answer but I plan on bringing a Baby Jogger City on my SW flight with a 6 year old. I read everything on the airlines site and don't see an age limit but being allowed to gate check a stroller / car seat, etc.

they don’t pay attention to the kids age or even if you have kids and gate check a stroller honestly

I checked a stroller with Southwest in August and there were no issues. My son is 6 and he's a big kid. No questions. Because I checked it, I did place it in a bag to make sure no small pieces come off. With this stroller, when I gate checked it, it came off with cup holders missing and a cover to a small storage compartment gone. I assume from it being thrown around under the plane.
