Age limit for children's menu?

The children's menus all say "for our guests 9 and under." So the official policy is 9 and under.

At least at counter service places, I don't think they care. I would imagine older children could order from the kids menus at table service places, too. (Except fixed price/buffet meals.)

At CS locations, no limit. I ordered CS lunches for my son every day of our trip back in 2008 and no one said anything to me.

At TS, I am not really sure. On the DDP, anyone age 10 and over will be charged the nightly adult rate, but I have heard reports that older children were still able to order off the children's menu, with a slightly larger portion. If paying cash, I am not sure about TS.

Exactly, I forgot to add that at buffets and fixed price places, anyone age 10 and over pays the adult price, but anyone at the restaurant can eat from the children's buffet choices too! It's not unheard of for me to grab a little mac 'n' cheese off the kids' buffet section at character meals! :thumbsup2

any age that is paying for it ???????????? lol normally it say some thing like 9 or 12 in most places.

I think it's more like guidlines anyways. If you send someone else up to order it, they will never know who it is for. I highly doubt they care anyways.

i ordered off the childrens menu when i was there in dec - it was all counter service but i never finish my meals as it is so why pay the extra when i would end up throwing 1/2 my burger and fries away anyway - they never questioned me if it was for a child or not - but i also order happy meals for myself from mcdonalds too - if it was a TS i would order off the regular menu

I have found they aren't really strict about the age limit, when I was a teenager there were a few times I had to order of the kids menu at TS restaurants if there was nothing I liked on the regular menu.

At the CS places I ordered just about every time 1 child meal. Every time I asked if it mattered that we didn't have a child that age, every time they said no problem.

We found that 1 adult meal w/ fries or similar and 1 child meal with veggie & fruit, split all b/t us was perfect.

DD did order from the child menu at Sci Fi, the drink wasn't included b/c she wanted a shake instead & it didn't include dessert.

Until they closed the Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary, my wife (in her 50's at the time) would order the filet from the child's menu. And we never had any problem.
