Age differences

What's the age difference between you and your S/O? My boyfriend and I have a 7 year age-gap. I'm 19 and he's 26. It never bothered me but obviously my dad is having a hard time stomaching it. hehe.

I'm 22 and my boyfriend is 24. I don't think age is a big thing unless you break it down into, "When I was 10, he was 20." Then it might feel a little weird. In my opinion, if everyone is above 18, it shouldn't be a big issue unless one party is using the other for reasons associated with age (more money, etc.)

Personally, i prefer to be with someone my own age (or very close to) so that we can reminise (sp?) together about shows we watched growing up and music we liked. I like the have those kinds of memories in common.
