Hi everyone...
Just wondering what is the age appropriateness of this ride? We are traveling with a 10 and 8 year old. Thanks. They have both seen and enjoyed movies like The Avengers.

Thanks

Ok well im 27 and i 1st seen that when i was around 8 I think,
My boys are now aged 7.7.10 and they 1st went in and seen it at aged 3,3,5 "they had not seen the films at this age" and they loved it but wouldnt keep the glasses on!
I plan on taking them to see it when we visit in september as they are now huge lovers of the films.....
I have also taken my 7 and 8 yr old nephews who LOVED it as they had seen the movies too and thought it was great, Its only a action show with a few little stunts on the stage and some actors running around the seat areas (on the outside ) its more the effects that the glasses give that gives off the overall feel so if they didnt like it they could take them off! IMO they will be just fine and its perfectly age app:thumbsup2

My son was 7 when he first saw it and, although it was a little intense for him at times, we were able to explain that it wasn't real/just actors and he appreciated that all the more.

It is just loud with motorcycle noise and some shooting. If they are used to noisy movies, they should be fine.

Those were the ages of my girls last year when we did T2 and they loved it! I'm sure your kids will have a great time.

The age you mentioned should be fine! We took our 3-4 year old at the time and we had to walk out. Too dark, loud and scary for him at that age.

My seven year old DD thought it was cool. -would she stand in a long line for it...probably not, but she did not find it scary or freighting at all.

I can see where the preschool crowd could be iffy (either scared or just plain bored) but 6+ should be fine as long as they don't have special concerns with loud noises, etc.

It's Universal's way of saying "This may be frightening for children" The only reason it said that is because it's LOUD. Considering they've seen The Avengers, they won't be scared.

Its funny, my daughter who is almost 6 like T-2 but is scared to death of twister. Kids are so weird.
