Still doing research, didn't know I can complicate things so much. On off-site hotels, has anyone stayed at the Sheraton Studio Hotel. I read reviews on TripAdvisor and they seem to be pretty good, but I'd like your opinions. Once again thanks!!

gopens,

I haven't stayed there yet but have it booked for 6/9-6/13. We're staying onsite at RP for the first 3 nights of our trip. I got the Sheraton Studio City through a Priceline bid for $42/night. I'm pretty happy with the rate considering the cheapest rate I could find at the time of the bid was $109/nt. After I won the bid I also checked out tripadvisor & agree that the reviews all seem to be positive!

I highly recommend using Priceline when a particular hotel is not a priority. Bidding on a 3* made more sense for us, as all of the 3* hotels in that area seemed more than adequate for our needs. Before I would even place a bid though, I suggest you go to biddingfortravel.com Click Here for some very useful tips on how to get the most out of your Priceline bid. The information there was extremely helpful for me. One thing to note however....if you need bidding assistance, be sure to read over all pertinent posts, ESPECIALLY the FAQs before you post a question there.

I'm not sure when you are planning your trip, but I'd be more than happy to post a review of the Sheraton when I return if it'll help! :D

But saw it when we were at US/IOA last week. It is a tall circular tower hotel. The rooms didn't appear to have balconies but I would bet the windows offer excellent views of Universal Studios, especially the higher up you are. One excellent benefit to this hotel is it's location near International Drive. Plenty of restaurants to walk to, as well as shops and even Wet N Wild.

We won't be going until Aug - I just have a need to plan ahead! I would really appreciate your posting on how the hotel was. It's also good to know there are places to walk to as I doubt we will rent a car. Have a great time...and thanks!
