After Tarzan Rocks?

Any rumors on the show that will replace Tarzan Rocks? or when it will begin performances?

I think there was some talk that it might be a NEMO show of some type...

I just saw on screamscape.com that the rumor is a Finding Nemo-themed show. They are going to be working on the theatre (enclosing, air-conditioning, and soundproofing it) for several months, and the new show should debut late this year.

Nemo is definitely the biggest rumor...I personally think they should work with the old films again...or even have something Toy Story. I'm getting a bit sick of the Nemo fad. But that's just me. Whatever they put there will be a million times better than Tarzan Rocks.

There is already an area devoted to Finding Nemo at the Living Seas in Epcot. There weren't any real musical "hits" from the Nemo soundtrack; if you want to see fish puppets, you can go to MGM and see The Little Mermaid show.

They shut down Lion King to enclose that theater and then reopened the show; it's a shame they couldn't have done the same for Tarzan Rocks. I can understand why the theater has to be enclosed due to the noise between it and Everest.

I don't see how a Nemo show will work in the park between the Everest attraction and Dinoland; Tarzan was a much more appropriate fit.

Tarzan Rocks was my favorite live show on Disney property, and I'm devastated it is gone.

Long live Tarzan!! We really enjoyed that show too and will miss it. Hope whatever goes in there is exciting and fits well with the surroundings.

I agree, i think a Nemo show would be a dumb choice. Like you said, if you want to see fish puppets, see the little mermaid. My kids and i were speculating what would be added. Some of our thought were

Emperor's new groove --singing and animals
Bambi - new movie and animals
Monsters Inc - Just because there isn't anything relating to that and Sully is kind of yeti-ish


There were a couple of other ideas that i can't recall, but never did we imagine Nemo! It seems out of place there.

I had heard that there wasnt going to be anything else going in there according to a someone from another show that was on his or hers days off. They told them that because of the noise from EE it would be hard to do a show also said that the CM of Tarzan had no idea that the show was closing down but everyone else knew about it and were told to keep quite about it or lose their job. Just a wild rumor I think and had no proof of the person being a employee.

Does anyone know if there is any work started on this yet? We are going the last week of October and it would be great to see a new show in AK! I know the rumor is late this year.

emperor's new groove would be an awsome show...I have to admit that I've over the nemo fad to. I really hope thats not what is going to replace tarzan
