After Hours Events - Ask Questions and Share Experiences Here

Now that Tron is going Standby, Maybe I am rethinking the Afterhours events. I am going to see after next week what the wait times are for it during the day. If it is not too bad, then I will not do AH, but I know riding at night is like another experience, maybe just doing EEH

People often talk about riding Tron at night being amazing but honestly, so little of the ride is outside that I can't say I really found it to be any different. I know others who have said the same thing.

I'm thinking its the walking up to the ride at night that is amazing. You're right once on, not much difference.

I thought I was supposed to be able to purchase the AH tickets since I’m currently here at Disney World and I do have resort reservations for party date I wish to purchase. I can’t find site to purchase the AH tix.

. Your Profile may need to be updated to have your resort reservation linked so you would be able to purchase early since ticketing opened yesterday, September 4th. Here is the top of the page to order tickets that references the Update Profile.

It does mention only for select Disney World resorts until September 10th when everyone can book.

Try this link: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/after-hours/ and Click "Purchase to go to the page requesting you to update your Profile

ETA: add information about the possible need to Update Profile to purchase before September 10th.

Yes, I went to Update Profile screen and my reservations are all in there but still won’t let me book AH…it’s ok I have lunch reservation at Disney Springs today so Ill just go into the Guest Services and let them help me. Thanks for your suggestion!

I had the same problem so I ended up just calling to buy the tickets.

So I went to Disney Springs both their Guest Services place as well as Ticket Store…neither one has access to the AH tix. The Ticket place says they will have the tickets on 9/10 but prior to 9/10 they will only Be available by phone.
The only way I was able to get my tickets was through the app. The website said they were for sale but then said currently unavailable. I did a chat and they said to try the app and I got them no problem

I did mine through the app. The date I was planning on going and only date available for my trip popped up automatically. I haven’t gone in a couple of years so that was new to me. I felt like before I would select my date ?

While sales are restricted to resort guests, you’ll only see the dates that fall within your resort stay, so when you will actually be a resort guest. After they become available to the public, all dates will open & you’ll pick whatever date you want.

Couple of questions about Epcot...

1 - Is the IG entrance open for exiting after the party?
2 - If so is the Skyliner running?
3 - If not is the Monorail running at the front of the park?

I'm making my plans for a pre-cruise WDW visit in August and resort selection will be affected by that.

Yes the IG will be open for you to exit.

2 - If so is the Skyliner running?
No it stops 90 minutes after regular park hours at Epcot.

3 - If not is the Monorail running at the front of the park?
No it stops 1.5 - 2 hours after regular park hours at Epcot. Disney Transportation does run buses for Guests to return to their resort hotels following the the AH events.

Thanks. That helps a lot. AKL it shall be then I think. :) If I'd have to ride a bus anyway (I don't mind), might as well stay where I'd prefer to.

I'm looking to purchase tickets for the MK AH on 1/13 (keeping my fingers crossed that there will still be tickets available on Tuesday as I know that this date is popular with those of us doing Marathon Weekend). Is there anyway to find out the total cost of a ticket for that date with tax? I want to use some Disney gift cards, but need to make sure that I have enough to cover the cost.
