Those are primarily on the FANTASY due to vibration issues. The WISH, TREASURE and DESTINY use Azipods so there are no propeller shafts, We had a very, very slight vibration on the WISH but only when docking, otherwise very smooth sailing..We have an aft cabin booked on the TREASURE in November.I have an aft verandah booked on the Treasure and I've come across many negative reviews about aft rooms. Are they really as bad as people say? Thanks in advance!
Sounds like a good upgrade! Thank youWe were upgraded to an aft veranadah room on the Wish and it was great! A little bit of a walk, but it was great
I didn't know that. Thank you for the information! I appreciate it. We are going in December! Those are primarily on the FANTASY due to vibration issues. It was pretty awesome. We'd booked an inside GTY and were originally assigned an inside accessible room on Deck 2. When we checked in at the port, they let us know our room assignment had changed. We ended up in an accessible aft verandah on Deck 8. The verandah was huge! The best part, was that they gave us a $100 room credit for the "inconvenience" of having it switch so late.Sounds like a good upgrade! Thank you
That's so awesome! What a great way to start a vacation. That's what I'm looking forward to is the huge verandah! It was pretty awesome. That picture is fantastic! We have sailed in aft verandahs several times on the fantasy. The vibration is always offset by the fantastic location and large verandah. Our cabin was literally as far aft as you can get on the Magic (the oldest ship) last September (see the picture from our balcony) and had read all the horror stories of soot, noise and excessive vibrations you had read and boarded with some trepidation ( typically we are forward, but got a price we couldn't ignore). We experienced none of it. Maybe some vibration pulling out of port, but eh, I experience that with the bow thrusters up forward. All the cruises have some minor vibration to me, sort of like the hum of a breeze along a tight rope. I find it soothing.
Not saying some of the horror stories haven't been true for some, but I do think it may have something to do with one's sensitivities. Complaints are often a vocal minority. We enjoyed the novel experience versus our normal forward cabin.
Thank you!I’ve been on all the ships except the Treasure. I’ve stayed aft on the Magic, Fantasy and Wish before. The Wish is just SO smooth. I would assume the Treasure would be the same.
And like a pp said, the issues tend to be mostly with the Fantasy, it’s a known issue with Disney have supposedly tried fixing but the issue still remains.
Thank you. That views are what im looking forward to the most! Those pictures are beautiful! Thanks for sharing them !We have sailed aft on both the Dream and Wish. The Dream had some vibration during docking in Castaway and in Miami, but the Wish was fantastic! We prefer the aft balconies because of the extended verandahs and the wonderful views.View attachment 936524

I am booked on the new ship the Treasure so hopefully it wont be bad. Thank you for sharingI will not be sailing on the Fantasy and Dream again. I’ve experienced excessive aft cabin vibrations during the night on both. The Fantasy is the worst.
The new class of ships are fine.
You should be fine. I sailed on the Wish and felt nothing. The Wish and Treasure have a totally different propulsion system.I am booked on the new ship the Treasure so hopefully it wont be bad. Thank you for sharing
