Has anyone taken the balloon ride at Disney Springs? Looks like you don't make a reservation. How long is the standby wait? How long is the ride? any other info?? Thanks

I’ve never seen a line to ride. It is very weather dependent. I’m guessing the “ride” probably lasts 5-7 minutes.

Ride is about 15 minutes total time. Sometimes a wait for 1 cycle, fewer people per ride than you might think

According to the Disney website it’s about 8 minutes long. Most of the time around this year it closes due to unsafe winds or lightning.

We did it a few years ago and went first thing in the morning when they opened. We only had to wait for one group ahead of us. Also, the early times (at least when we went) were a bit discounted as well.

We did this a number of years ago (was able to use a groupon code!) Really enjoyed it, think it was about 10 mins long. It is very weatehr dependent, so keep that in mind when planning to do it.

I've attempted this three times on three different trips. Each time it was closed for wind.
