Aerogarden

Has anyone bought an aerogarden? I would like to get one but with the price tag I want to know that it will work.

Have had one since Xmas so didn't buy it myself but I certainly would. We've planted twice since xmas, a mixture of things each time. One hint that I would have is don't try and mix so much, what I find is the fact that everything grows at different heights what winds up occuring is 2 or 3 things take over and the smaller things dont' grow.

I think with my next batch I'll just do 2 things.

Best sucess has been with basil, since I'll put basil in most everything it works out well

We love ours; have the small one, with three holes. I actually have seen killer deals on Craigslist, so worth keeping your eye out. I agree that basil has done the best of anything we've planted so far.

We got ours as a gift for Christmas 2007 and still love it! I am about to replant more herbs within the next week or so. We just tried cherry tomatos and for some reason the plants never flowered . No bi=g deal as I like the herbs the best anyhow. I highly recommend it!

I love, love, love mine. I have the large one and have grown herbs. My freezer is loaded with them. Yum
