Advise needed - ivory suit... what colour shoes?

Hi guys, just wondered if you would give me some advise, my df will be wearing an ivory suit for our wedding and i need advise on what colour shoes he should wear. Black? Ivory? Your thoughts would be much appreciated!

personally, I would go for ivory.

I think I'd stick with ivory too...but you might be able to get away with a light tan/taupe or even a light gray.

ETA...I just re-read the OP and realized that she said it was her DF that would be wearing the ivory suit! I'm not sure a man would wear taupe/tan or even gray shoes!

What color is the shirt, vest and tie? If it's a dark tie, or dark vest, maybe dark shoes would be a nice compliment for them.

I would go with ivory or some color in that tone. You could also go with a light gold...you know not too tacky shiny.
