My spouse and I are frequent Disney guests that did one day at Universal in 2001. We were staying off-site at the time, but will be going next weekend (31 May) and staying for a couple of days on site. We are Disney vets, we know all the ins and outs and what we like to do.

In this case we know we want to hit the biggies, we loved Hulk, Spidey, and MiB last time we were there, but I was wondering if any of the Universal vets had tips for rides, places to eat, or anything else that we may skip over if we weren't keeping an eye out.

Any advice?

And btw, what are the suits on MiB?

Thank you for your help.

My advice is to read up on how to do well on MIB, see the posts listed under IMPORTANT near the top of the forum.

Make sure you eat at Mythos. Go on all the water rides. The horror make-up show is very good. Visit the talking fountain. Take your time and enjoy all the little details!!!!!!!

Here is s short list ... Some you may have done..but just incase.

USF
Shows.
Beetle Juice Graveyard revue.
Wild West Stunt show.
Extreme Ghostbusters.
Horror Make up Show (not the full name)

Attractions
Termantior-3d
Shrek 4-d
Twister

Crap...everything and Universal and IOA are fun...make sure to do it all.

Here is a pretty good site with some really good information.

http://www.usf.i8.com/

In IOA go to Dueling Dragons early and make sure to ride the front row. Those near misses can't be beat.
Staying on site will give you that wonderful express access and you'll be able to do a LOT. See it all.
At IOA definitely eat at Mythos in the Lost Continent.
We had some wonderful lunches at Lombard's Landing in Universal Studios.

I agree to go ahead and see it all if possible. You never know what you might like. For example, I was surprised at how much I liked Twister while my son really enjoyed Earthquake. I also loved exploring the little streets in Universal and taking time to really look around all throughout IOA.

Don't forget that there's a lot of good restaurants in City Walk too.

I've been reading those MiB tips for awhile...they are definitely making the trip with me...now I need to get the spouse to read them :smooth:

Thank you for the advice. I'll keep an eye out for the eateries and we'll make sure we catch those shows. It's going to be fun with the new experience of Universal and I'm really glad to get the inside tips that come from visit after visit...
