After staying offsite during each March break for anywhere from 7-14 days from 2015-2020 and feeling totally comfortable with planning, I am now looking for advice. We always rope dropped (I'm talking first people at the tap stiles roped-roping) and either stayed in the parks til 5-6pm, or left the parks around 1:30 and returned around 5 til close...never with hoppers.
With Genie+ I though for sure we would get hoppers and stack a couple LLs during a short afternoon break and return to another park. But with many paid ILL$ only available late in the day, if at all, for offsite guests and reduction in benefit for rope-dropping I don't know anymore.
It looks like ROTR ILL$ will not be available to me at all, and it seems like standby will be worst right away each day. It looks like FoP ILL$ will not be offered until early afternoon at best. Same, possibly, with 7DMR and MMRR as well as SDD (even though that one is just a LL). And March will be busier than now so availability may be less/times offered pushed back (Christmas will test this I suppose)
Looking at my plans, I'm thinking that just starting each day (we have 6 park days over 8 days) around noon and staying till close is the way to go (daughters are 6, 9, 11). We would have a couple LL selections in hand, and of note, we will also have 3 Guest Experiences per day each, but unfortunately they are not good for the top 3 rides at each park (no ILL$ ride, nor SDD, PPF, NAVI River, nor TestTrack).
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
