Hi Folks,

I have just been diagnosed with a mobility condition and am needing to use a stick now to help with my walking. Although I still manage to get around I am finding it difficult to stand for long periods of time. My partner and I are heading to WDW in September and although I know I have fast pass to use each day, is there anything I can do to help with the queues? I don't want to jump the queues and am happy to wait I just can't stand in line!! Any hints and tips would be appreciated.

Get an ECV, even though you can get around some, there is so much walking and standing that an ECV will be a lifesaver. Most people balk at using it the first time, but once you use one, you feel so much better that you can't imagine not using one.

For a mobility issue Disney will recommend you rent/bring a wheelchair as the ques are accessible and you can bring it through the line with you.

They do not issue a DAS for strictly mobility related issues.

I've never been in a line at a Disney park where I had to stand still for more than a few minutes.

We've stood still at TSMM many times. Sometimes as long as 15 minutes without moving. Same with Buzz Lightyear. We waited at least that long while they kept letting FP users through.

The TSMM standby line is the bane of my existence!

Ah. It's never happened to me in Buzz Lightyear (I don't go in if the posted wait is over 25 min) and I don't go to TSMM (can't see 3D).
