Advice please!

For our vacation next year, we currently have three TPV rooms at CR with a 40% military discount. We would prefer to get a 2BR 1)TPV at Bay Lake 2) Savanna view at AKL Kidani 3) VWL.

I'm still a few days out from when the rooms open (11 month mark for our check out is 8 Aug 13)

Availability is starting to pop up for our first couple of days...BLT standard view and VWL...

My question is this...given the choice, which would you choose? 2BR standard view at BLT or 2 BR woods/courtyard/pool/WL view at VWL?

Personally, I'd go for the 2 bedroom VWL. I absolutely LOVE the themeing of that resort and while it's not on the monorail line, it is still just a 5 minute boat ride from the MK entrance, and from there you can transfer to the TTC to hop on the monorail for EP.

The 2 bedroom BLT rooms are nice and within walking distance to MK, a huge perk at the end of the night when the resort monorail line is packed. But still, I love my WL!

It depends on what you are looking for. As a DVC owner I've stayed at all and the 2 bedroom Kidani savannah view villas are stunning. The villas themselves and the view and the entire resort. However, the location is distant.

If you want to be close to MK, I prefer BLT. WL is nice but I'm not a huge fan of VWL.

The 11-month window is for DVC members, not guests paying cash through Disney's CRO. They won't automatically release their full inventory at 11 months out, people have reported seeing things become available 8, 9 and 10 months out. So keep looking for what you want for the next few months. Personally, I love BLT, the location just can't be beat and the two bedroom villas are pretty big?

No doubt, I'll keep looking until we leave if I don't have exactly what we want. But there is some inventory being released at the 11 month window, because it shows up day by day when I check.
