Advice please on cooling vests

Hi. I was wondering does anyone have any advice on cooling vests for my upcoming Disney Vacation (and for summer use as well)? Would you reccomend the ice pack ones or the evaporation type?

I recently got the wrist, ankle and neck bands that you soak in water (evaporation type) and all they did was make my shirt and socks wet in humid weather. I have tried "stuffing ice packs" in my clothing which has left me with very sensitive almost burnt spots.

I am rather busty and some of them can weigh up to 5 lbs which would make me appear more lumpy than I already am

Any suggestions for something that will work GREAT and be comfortable?

My friend uses the evaporative type vests with her twins (4) that have mitochondrial disease. She says they work well.

My daughter Ali has mitochondrial disease and pretty significant autonomic dysfunction. We hated the evaporative vest, and her metabolic doctor actually said it would be a waste to bring it to Disney where the humidity would be high. We ended up buying a StaCool vest, which she loves so much that she actually requests it when she starts to overheat. It will bring her temp down several degrees within minutes of putting it on. And surprisingly, it is neither heavy nor bulky. Good luck, and have fun!

We have both for my son with mitochondrial disease. The evaporative one from Silver Eagle works fine in low humidity but not at all in humidity. The Stacool one works fantastic in any weather but is heavy and bulky. We try to use the Silver Eagle one whenever humidity is low... which I doubt would ever be the case in Florida though.
