We arrive Monday 5/30 around 12;30pm at MCO. Flying from CO, our flight leaves at 7 am. So we will be up and moving to get to the airport around 5 am which will be 7 am Fl time and able to make ILL and Genie + at that time. This will also be the very first time booking these. And it's usually a little nerve-racking this early anyway with getting to the airport on time. My plan was to go directly to MK (hopefully with 7DMT booked and any others I can get). We are staying at the Dolphin so we have access to EMH at Epcot that evening. Will we be able to hop, since GOTG is opening a few days prior?
Also is this a doable plan? I'm wondering if I should plan to do Epcot for the day with a break in between? Would that just be easier? We are veterans of the parks but have not used the new skip the line process yet. I feel better with what I've been reading here, but any new system takes a little to get used to. I would've rather had my FP booked at 60 days! Lol
If anyone has a plan that would work well, I'm open to it!! :flower1:

Our experience is that it usually takes about 3 hours between airplane touchdown and entering a park, which could mean that you might not get to a park until about 3:30. That seems way too late to me to think about taking any kind of a break. (The 3 hour time involved the Magical Express to our Disney resort and then the bus to the park. Your situation may be different, especially since the Magical Express is no more.)

You should be able to hop to Epcot OK, but it remains to be seen what the situation for GOTG will be (virtual queue? ILL? any standby at all? available during Extra Evening hours?) Hopefully Disney will announce soon what the situation will be.

Hi- we will be arriving MCO around the same time. 😊 Keep in mind for G+, you do not get to pick your times. But, I think you get pick a time for the paid LL option (like 7DMT).
My suggestion is to book a paid LL for 7DMT for late afternoon (like 5pm) and do not do G+ for your arrival day. Once you get to MK, ride seven dwarves (with paid LL) and the other MK rides standby. Hop over to Epcot for the extended hours. Who knows what will happen with GOTG. If they open a virtual queue similar to ROTR, you most likely will need an Epcot park reservation, or be tapped in Epcot for the afternoon drop.
Most likely, you will not have time for a afternoon rest.

I'm not really concerned with riding GOTG on this day. We have 8 day hoppers, so it would probably be a day we have Epcot reserved. I was just concerned about being able to hop to Epcot if there are crowds. I hadn't thought about just getting the ILL for 7DMT and not Genie +, but a possibility I guess. It would be nice to have a late afternoon JC or PP scheduled and then be able to schedule another G+ when we land and have the 3 rides lined up for when we get there, and then do 1-2 more before we leave. We're not looking to spend a ton of time at MK. We are renting a car as we always do and hopefully the process will go smoothly and it won't take too long to get to MK. As a far as a break, EEMH doesn't start until 10 pm I believe, so we could even just go over at around 8pm or even 9 pm. Pretty ambitious with such an early start, but I want to take advantage while we are on property at the start of the trip before we move to our rental house. :goodvibes
