As DH is a teacher we have to go in school holidays. August is just too hot and humid. Please can you advise us about the heat and humidity in mid-Feb and late October?

This will be our 4th October in a row.

Weather is lovely usually high 20's and not humid plus very little rain. Shorts and t shirt weather for us brits.

Only been once end Feb - weather was ok but cooler - have long trousers and a hoody on in photos.

Feb half term can clash with presidents day holiday so v busy parks.

October is low crowds.

I hadn't even thought about crowds - thank you for that! October sounds wonderful especially with Halloween!

October! We've been several times in October and twice in February and I would definitely go with October. The weather is much nicer (we had sweatshirts and pants on when we went in February).

Plus, you can check out the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot in October and MNSSHP at MK.

I agree with August being too hot. We just found it too much with the heat and humidity.
We are now firmly October fans, still hot and with the lower humidity it makes it much easier to tour the parks. Food and wine festival is excellent and the Halloween party at MK is fun.

I don't generally find the heat a problem, even in August, as there are so many opportunities to cool down in Disney parks.

October starts to get cooler from the middle of the month. No humidity and little rain. I needed a cardigan for the evenings though, as the air temp is cooler but air con is still on so there's no chance to warm back up lol. It's just right though early to mid Oct IMO.

Never been in feb though!

We had the same situation for years. We have been in February, August and October and we are going again this October. Overall, October is the better time to go. There is nothing wrong with February, in fact, we were there last Feb for our Disney Wedding Vow Renewal and it was a nice time to go. The first couple of days were chilly in the mornings but temperatures were good. October is warmer than Feb and I would say it's probably the nicest time of year to go, plus you get F & W, MNSSHP and MVMCP.

Thank you all very much - I really appreciate your input. I think we've pretty much decided that October sounds the best for us. :)
