Going on the 3 day Wonder on Aug. 29 and am wondering what to do in Nassau very cheaply. It will be me,sister, and sisters 2 girls(10&13). We are thinking of taking the glass boat excursion, but not sure on this. Any advice would be great.

my advice would be to stay on the ship...or if you want just walk down to the straw market then go back to the ship.....

Aprilgail is right. Save your money and stay on board. We have been to Nassau twice. The first time we went to Blue Lagoon (money wasted) and the second time we just sat by the pool. It's not crowded and the food is free.

Ruvidu,

I am about to get married and we are going on the Wonder June 23 to the 27th. We were going to do excursions and decided to go to Atlantis instead (using the pools, slides, gamble a little), We heard on this board that you have to rent a hotel room in order to gain acces to the amenities. We are fine with that because this gives us a place to chage, etc...

My questions would be how early do they let you check in??
and is it worth it?

Thanks for your response in advance.

Haven't cruised to Nassau with Disney but with a different cruise line and I'd agree with everyone - visit straw market and then head back to ship to enjoy the not too crowded pools. Since your only on the ship 3 days I'd try to enjoy it as much a possible.

I'm sorry. We have never been to Atlantis. Try this link to their site. http://www.atlantis.com/
Hope it helps. Their site is great by the way.
Best wishes on your upcoming nuptials.

We cruised the 4 day Wonder on 5/12, and did Atlantis through the Comfort Suites hotel for $154 (with taxes and fees it came to around $180). We checked in around 10am, no problem. Checked back out around 5pm. My advice would be to tell them right away that you will not be coming back to check out and to mail you a bill. It was a pain in the rear to hike all the way back there after a long, hot day. Atlantis was absolutely beautiful, the waterslides were a blast, the pools were pristine and the aquarium looked great. Didn't do the casino, but walked through and it looked very nice. We paid $4 pp each way for taxi, and we skipped lunch and brought snacks. Overall, it cost about $220 for the day. It was very fun, and basically the only thing that we wanted to do rather than stay on this ship, but still on the expensive side for 8 hours worth of fun. Enjoy!! -Sue
