Advice on seating time

I personally would recommend early dining. We’ve done 5 cruises with our girls (now 9 and 5) and have always had early dining. The dining is part of the experience and the girls enjoy it.
Regarding wanting to do the shows etc- we definitely haven’t done all of the shows. I prioritized Aladdin and tangled on the relevant ships and made the other ones as time allowed. As others have said you can also watch them on TV. I know this isn’t the same as in person but for us good enough. And the other thing - my little one has actually fallen asleep on me in the shows.
Enjoy your cruise.

I also recommend early dining all together, then getting the kids into pajamas for the show. You’ll have a more enjoyable dinner and they may or may not stay awake through the show, but you can quickly slide them into bed afterwards. My DD would have been asleep at the MDR table at that age - especially multiple nights with that schedule - and it would not have bern enjo

But you know your kids best and howwell they may handle a late night (or 2 or 3 a row).

Enjoy your cruise!

Our first cruise was when my daughter was 4. We did the main dining and went to the shows. She was captivated by them. After the shows she went to bed. We live in Central time zone so kind of gained an hour. But thinking back, we never really had a problem with our kids staying up a bit later on vacations. Of course, we don't set an alarm and wake them up at the crack of dawn. We just let everyone wake up naturally, which works out on a cruise ship.
