Everyone has made such valid points, I feel even more torn. If we add on now, I just know we will end up adding on again as our boys get older. Add-on-Itis is a real thing!!

Gotta agree with Hickory above. Buy where you love and will enjoy the most. And agreed that you'll probably find a third resort before long with another little add-on here and there over many fun years to come.

Buying BCV. With luck, we survive until 2042! We have direct and resale. This contract is just for us to enjoy selfishly hoping we last another 18 years! We have SAP points for our son and DIL. Got a great price and you can't take it with you!

We purchased 150 Direct at GFV last summer. The plan was always to buy more, either at direct or resale.
We stayed at the Yacht club and loved it so have found a 100 point contracted, fully loaded at the Beach Club for $125 per point. Total $12,500, obviously 2042 expiry and matches our UY. Is this a good deal?
Would you go for this or we would look to buy another 100-150 points direct this summer either Riv or potentially Poly 2.0?
We’re in our late 20s and have 2 children so plan to go to Disney for a long time.

If SAB is the main attraction for you, you might take a look at the pools at the Poly and CCV. The pools there are very nice—not as nice as PAB—but the contracts last decades longer than BCV.

BCV sounds like a great fit. You already have a MK resort and an Epcot Area resort will fit nicely. There will be new resorts by 2042 that would be more interesting to add onto. Kids will also grow up - a 6 year old would love going to Disney with their parents. Don't assume the 16 year old or 26 year old would love doing the same thing. Shorter contracts at a lower price point are attractive. Don't forget about the time value of money - think of each additional year beyond 2042 being worth $1/year. Some of the other resorts become much more expensive.

I would think that with enough direct points in hand to get DVC Y, you would just add on with resale for price purposes and because it looks like you are happy with the O14 resorts?
