Advice on OWK room location

We are planning a trip and want to stay in a 1 br at OKW. DH would love to be on the water or as close as he could be. He would also like to be able to take the boat to DD. Please offer some bld. recommendations for us so I can make a request. Also what type of balcony would we expect. Do they have ceiling fans on the balcony?Thanks, Charlotte

Everyone has their favorite spots at OKW. We like Building 62 and it's waterview. It is just across the street from the hospitality house and transportation to DTD. We stayed in 6212(2BDR) and 6224(1BDR) this past trip. The view from the balcony was partially obstructed in 6224. The balconies are large compared to other DVC properties onsite. They do have ceiling fans. Enjoy.

madcoco, thanks for the information. What are the buildings 45 and 46 like, are they near the walkway to DDT, are they on the water? Thanks again for the information.

I like building 55 - it is right next to the walking path to DD and it has some lovely views of the water.

45 and 46 both have views of the water - but they are a little further away from a bus stop.

Hi! I know building #45 is on the canal, and has some nice water views. I assume 46 is also.

Here is a view of building 46 taken from the walkway to DD. Just make a request to have a villa with a water view (there are many). I wouldn't worry about proximity to HH- as any bus will take you there to catch the boat to DD.

We like the Southpoint area, but it's a bit of a walk from the main HH area,where the boat dock is.
