Advice on next trip planning

Hi,

My family and I went to DW during free dining this past September. My partner had be there a number of times growing up, too many to count, frankly, but it was the first time for our 3 year old and me. *Both* of them have been begging to go back since we got home. I would like to, for Xmas, tell them I've arranged for us to go back next year.

We really liked the time of year we went, for the weather, because it was fewer people, and of course the free dining. I know we don't know if free dining will happen, it's never a guarantee, but here is my question. If I call up in the next week or two and make vacation plans with DW, and I put my $200 down, then we learn about free dining after that, can I change the trip and take advantage of the free dining?

Now to decide if we go back to the Port Orleans Riverside which we loved so much, or do the Contemporary and be on the monorail. The cost difference is huge...but hmm.

we have been the last 2 sept. for free dining and more than likely they will offer it again. we are planning on it. i love staying @ POR!! we did the kayaks one day down the river and it was so much fun! we also did the carriage ride around POR and did you see bob @ the river roost? we will be staying @ POFQ on our May trip!

we are from the UK and our free dining offer for sept ended yesterday so I'm sure they will release it for you guys. I'm all booked and cant wait to get back

Tip-if you have a Disney Visa, book it with that. Then when the code comes out you can apply it then. They will probably offer it to cardholders a few days before the general public.

2 years ago we were booked for a week in Sept. then the free DDP came along, they let us do it but we had to rebook at a different Resort and give up the AAA room discount, but we called back in a week and our origional resort was availabel with the free DDP.
