We're planning to book to take in some of the Christmas celebrations this year but due to my job, w/c 19th Nov is the latest week we can go. Can anyone tell me are all the Christmas events up and running by this date? I here it snows on Main Street, is this on selected days? How about the markets at Disney Village? Is there anywhere you can meet the 'main man' (that's Santa not Mickey!) Any info would be greatly appreciated. :surfweb:

We have been earlier in November and many of the Christmas events are up and running by this time :)

When we went in early November a few years ago it was Christmas Season but not all Christmas shows and celebrations started until some time in late November or early December (can't remember which). It's still pretty magical though, albeit pretty chilly!

We have been at around the 19th for the last two years and everything was up and running apart from The Market at The Village which doesnt start until December sometime.

You can get your photo taken with Santa in his sledge on Main Street at various times during the day. It does snow on Main street at random times during the day so you will get to see that too.

This is a great time to go as it quieter than December but you still get the Christmas magic.

I agree....we always go in Nov as its much quieter (so i hear) and everything is pretty much running - apart from the Xmas market as said.

Its fantastic...

We will be there Dec 3 - 8th, I am excited to be part of the Christmas Festivities :)

That was the time we were there last year. It was fairly quite, except on the Wednesday as every child in France was in the park and you couldn't move for crocodiles of children being dragged round the park by harrassed looking teachers. Have a brilliant time, might see you there!!!
