Please help me out everyone. I need advice on where to have dinner the first night we get to WDW. Here's the plan so far. We leave Boston at 7:48 to arrive in Orlando 11:00am on April 22. I think we should get to POFQ by 1:00pm. DD20mo. will need a nap by this time. Here's where I get all indecisive. MK is only open until 6:30 so by the time naptime is over and we get to MK it will probably be close to 4pm already. We just have to do MK on the first day not to break tradition. I'm thinking that by 6:00pm we should hop on the monorail and head over to Epcot which is open til 9:00pm and have dinner at San Angel. Am I pushing it after a day of travelling? I was hoping maybe someone can give me a better idea. Too much to see,do, and eat and too little time. Here's our other PS's for the week: 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's, Le Cellier, Crystal Palace, Boma, Sci Fi,'Ohana, Hollywood and Vine. Please help me, I thought I could figure it out on my own but the more I think about it the worse it gets.

I guess I would just see how DD is doing. I think I would go to Epcot And do Counter service my kids love Morrco & mexico. And if DD is not up to it go back to the resort and try the food court or go to Downtown Disney for RF or that new Earl of Sandwich.

Personally, I wouldn't waste a day on my park hopper for that little of a time. We usually always head to Downtown Disney on our first day, so we can get some Disney magic and a nice meal, without having to get into the parks or pay parking. This time around, I think we're actually going to head to the Boardwalk, since we'll be getting there much later... plan to eat Pizza at the Spoodles window on the boardwalk and enjoy the atmosphere =)

I wouldn't jump around that much on your first day... what about relaxing at the resort pool, visiting dtd, or something like that instead? Eat at a resort restaurant, or at DTD, and save your pass. Unless you have an annual pass... then I suppose it wouldn't matter! LOL

Thanks so much for the input guys! This year we will be getting the AP's since we'll be there more than 10 days. And this year I am a Disney Store CM so I get a small discount on the passes which helps. I like the idea of pizza at the Spoodles window we've never done that before. Is the pizza really good?

How 'bout after MK closes, you head to one of the Monorail resort restaurants already on your list - Chef Mickey, 'Ohana or 1900 Park Faire? You can maybe swap out one of your other PS nights and do San Angel on an Epcot day. Or Cindy's. I believe you can get a dinner PS for park closing time? OR 7:15 HDDR. Only problem w/that is if there's a problem w/your flight, and you can't get there, you'll be charged. That's why we don't do HDDR our first night. We opt for Chef Mickey's our first night. It really puts us in the mood. And you'll be right there!
