This is my third trip to Disney but my first on the Dining Plan. We are doing the Deluxe Dining Plan. We are celebrating my daughter's fourth birthday and staying at the Grand Floridian 12/12-12/17 - I want to make sure I'm not missing something - any advise would be appreciated :) She loves the Princesses and I want to make sure she has a great time!! :)

So far, here is what I have
12/12 Sunday - checking in at hotel, Lunch at Grand Floridian Cafe, Dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare - just staying at the hotel - I've heard they have a lot of Christmas decor to check out.

Monday 12/13 - Magic Kingdom. Breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:25, Dinner at Liberty Tree at 5:15, Wishes Dessert Party at 7pm. They said I can see Spectromagic from the Dessert Party - is that correct?? Do I have enough time from a 5:15 Liberty Tree dinner to make it to the Dessert Party at 7pm or should I try to get an earlier dinner reservation??

Tuesday 12/14 - Animal Kingdom. Tusker House Breakfast at 8:30, Tusker House Lunch at 12:05 (Breakfast for the Characters, Lunch since last year we had the lunch buffet and loved it!); Hoping to book the CP Dining Pkg once it's finally available. My daughter will be 4 - any advise on which time I should book the CP for?

Wednesday 12/15 - Hollywood Studios. Chef Mickeys at 8:30 - Is it easy to get to the Contemporary from the Grand Floridian? I've never been to any of the Disney resorts. 50s Prime Time at 11:15, Fantasmic Dinner Package at Brown Derby at 3:55pm. I don't like the early dinner but I want to make sure we have a good seat for Fantasmic without waiting in line too long with a 3, almost 4 year old. Is Brown Derby good? I have heard mixed reviews.

Thursday 12/16 - Breakfast at Ahershus at 9:15, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at 2:55pm, CRT dinner at 5:15, MVMVP Fireworks Dessert Party at 8:50pm

Friday 12/17 - 1900 Park Fare for Breakfast at 9am.

Thanks in advance for any advise :)

Looks like you have some great times here. Just realize that this is a lot of time spent in restraunts when you have three a day, you should plan on spending at least 6 hours a day eating. That being said:

Getting to the dessert party from Liberty Tree will be tight to make it on time. If you are eating at 5:15 and need to be a Tomorrowland Terrace at 7:00 it will be close. Also, you probably wont want to eat much of the desserts if you are coming straight from a dinner that includes desserts. Not saying you have to eat them, but just something to consider. Since you have no lunch for that day, I would try to eat around 2 or 3:00 or so to cover lunch and still be able to enjoy the desserts.

It is very easy to get from Floridian to CR, just hop on the monorail and it is two stops away. Should only take about 10-15 min to get there for breakfast at CM.

We are going down Dec 16-23 so we will be there around the same time! Have a great time and enjoy all the food!

breakfast at 8:30 then lunch at 11:15? I don't think that you will be hungry enough after a buffet breakfast and then planning another meal at 3:55pm. You will be spending all you touring time at sit down restaurants. I would eliminate the 11:15 lunch if it was me. Why not plan a late lunch and do the fantasmic dinner package for the early show. I have 2:25pm fantasmic package at Mama Melrose for the 6:30 show on 12/29 when there are 2 Fantasmic shows. Don't know if thats true for your dates. I think you may be missing attraction times with all the sit downs..IMHO.
