We are going to go to London this next summer, and I have to decide between mid-June and late-June. I know there's not much difference, but I thought I'd ask. Our two possible dates might be June 8 - 15 or June 22 - 29. Any thoughts on which might be better weather-wise and crowd-wise? (We'd like to travel when it's not terribly hot, but terribly hot for us is southern US hot. We live in Alabama.)

Thanks in advance.

We were just there in July and it was HOT! Even for us and we're from AL too! The problem is that they aren't prepared for the heat like we are. We were in a Hilton hotel with no air conditioning.

I would recommend early June.

It was exceptional this year. We had a heatwave in July, hottest temperatures since records began, so I wouldn't plan on it being that hot again. As for crowds, its always busy in London with tourists but either of those dates have the British children still in school. Try one of the newly built/refurbished hotels, we are catching up on the air-con, I think a lot of new builds/refurbs have it now.

Thanks so much! We're planning on traveling (at first, at least) with Adventures by Disney. After the ABD tour, we're going to come back to the UK and do some touring outside of London. We're so excited!
