Alright so we've officially booked into the Anabella and are now looking at shuttle services. We are actually arriving through LAX and leaving through Long Beach. I've looked into the Disneyland Express but see that it doesn't service Long Beach. Are there any shuttle services that are common to both airports? If so, which ones would you recommend? Oh and in case this is a factor at all, we arrive at LAX around 7-8pm New Years Day and depart from Long Beach around noon on Thursday Jan 7. Thanks :)

The only bad thing I have found with flying in or out of LGB is that there isn't a shuttle... I have rented a car each time we flew thru LGB, and it is now my preferred airport! :goodvibes Since you are flying into and out of a different airport, I wouldn't suggest a rental car. You could take the DL Express to the hotel, and then get a taxi back to LGB at checkout. In my experience it's been about $50 for the taxi (being my daughter and I) from the hotels (we were at CCI) to LGB. Kinda spendy, but that was our only option besides the rental car. Good luck! The front desk at the Annabella should have a card or call a taxi company for you.

Everytime that my wife and I visit Disneyland, we always fly into LAX. As soon as you walk out of the baggage claim area and cross the street to the pickup island, there are many shuttles to choose from that will take you to the front door of your hotel. I really enjoy the 30 minutes of peace during the drive from the airport to the Disneyland area. They run about $35 roundtrip per person. I think it is well worth the peace of mind knowing that you will not get lost in a strange place.

There are a couple of shuttles that go to LGB. Super Shuttle and Prime Time are two I can think of. Super Shuttle will cost you $35 for the first person and $9 for each additional person. There are coupons around for a percentage off or $3 off per person, I think. Check this page: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/supershuttle.com

Looks like Disneyland Resort Express would be a better option from LAX; $20 per person. : http://graylineanaheim.com/docs/GL Anaheim DRE Brochure 2008.pdf

Hope that helps--

I like getting a taxi to the airport so that you don't have to share a ride and wonder if you will get to the airport on time. We are also staying at Anabella in December and flying out of Long Beach. You can reserve a taxi for up to six people at a flat rate of $45.
