We have booked a limo to take us to the port from Orlando and asked for this to collect us at 10.a.m. Is this early enough as I do not know what time checking in is at the port. Also have two staterooms booked and do not want us to be separated at meals so how do you ask for the two bookings to be linked together somehow so this does not happen.

Hi Brenda. To link your reservations, so that you eat together, you can ask your travel agent. Or, you can call Disney. Chances are, they're already linked!

Brenda,

If you booked through a travel agent call them and have them link the reservations. If you booked directly through Disney than you can call yourself but have the full names and room numbers of the parties (if you have the reservation number even better).

As for the limo - I would do a pick-up at say 9:30. That should get you to the port just about the time it opens.

After you and your traveling partners check in at the port and get your Keys to the World, check to see that both staterooms have the same table number and dining rotation (TAP or LAP, etc.). If they're not the same, find out where and when you can go shortly after boarding to make the change. We had five staterooms booked through different TAs, and one or two weren't linked despite my prior request, but the change was accommodated very quickly.

Just wanted to say as for when to have the limo pick you up...it depends on how early you want to arrive...how far away your hotel is....and how long you want to wait before you can board the ship.

They don't start boarding until aroun Noon (I think)...and it takes around 40-45 min to drive from the MCO area to the port. They open the terminal earler...but they don't start boarding until noonish....so if you arrive to early you'll be hanging around the teminal...but they have things to keep you some what busy...like Charactors out and about at times doing photo ops...and now you can register for the clubs while you wait.

I think 10:00 would be fine...but even earler or later would be good also. The ships don't leave until mid afternoon.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. Just wondered what time Disney Terminal start checking people through. We are staying at Cypress Harbour in Orlando for the week before and think perhaps it would take an hour to get to port. We are from UK so read somewhere that we have to check in differently but our travel agent here in England is not much help. Get more information from this board.

Ive been on Three Disney Cruises and I always try and get to the Port between 10am and 10:30am. Always got right in. :moped: John
2+ weeks to our forth cruise Feb. 13.

I'd suggest arriving at the port by 10 am if possible. Have your cruise docs filled out before you go. You can check in without mobs of anxious people and be in line to board by 10:30. At that point, you will have to wait for approx 1 1/2 hours to board but its so worth it and when you board at approx 12 noon, wait till you see the length of the line behind you. I think you will be glad you're toward the front. Plus, you and your companions can take turns leaving the line to walk outside, get a coffee, use restrooms, etc. No one in line ever seems to mind that.

If changes are needed for your dining companions, go to Rockin Bar D as soon as you board the ship. The Maitre D table will be there to assist you (they are adjacent to the Palo reservation table). While in there, another member in your party could go to the Palo table and make reservations.
