advice needed-my kids"hate"me.

I always told my kids that of course I was mean--what did they think MOM stood for anyway??? It was my job description: Mean Old Mother!

I am with some of the other posters in that my kids are absolutly NOT allowed to say they hate me or their dad. It's very disrespectful. Sounds to me like you are doing everything right in your punishments. I say keep up the good work & make sure there are consequences when they say things like, they hate you. Good luck. Hang in there.
