Advice needed for 2B BCV

Have 5 adults, 2 teens and 6yr. old going. Will get a 2B at BCV to sleep 8pp. Should we ask for the 1k, 2Q bedroom or is it not a big deal to have the 1k and sleeper sofa. Any pros or cons to either way? Have stayed in the 1b before with teens on sofa. Any advice or info. will be greatly appreciated.

It's totally up to you. The only major difference between getting a room with a sleeper and one with 2 queens is that one with 2 queens will be a dedicated 2 BR.

This means a single entrance and no kitchenette in the studio side. If that isn't a big deal, then it's not.

However, there are only 25 rooms with 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom in all of BCV. If your 11 month window is open, I'd call sooner then later to secure one if that's the configuration that you want.

just got back from a 2 br BCV room . It was so nice! I had requested 2 queens in the 2nd br, but got a room with bed and sleeper sofa.
we had myself and dh in king room. my two teenage sons on the sleeper in the living room, sister and dh in 1 queen bed, and their 2 teenage daughters in the sleeper sofa. No complaints from the kids, I would have much preferred the 2 queens, they told us they didn't have any.

I think everyone was so exhausted by the time they hit the bed, they probably could have slept on the floor.

BCV was clean, furniture in much better shape than Wilderness Lodge.

Do you want an extra door? an extra kitchenette? Then reserve the lock-off

If not then....
Want Pool view? Want a balcony off the second bedroom? The you need to reserve the dedicated w/Q and sofa (there are a couple pool view rooms but chances are slim)

Otherwise...
book the 2Q! Why not have 2 real beds in that second bedroom and more closet space!
