Well
Here it is.... we are going in less than 40 days for our Fun-filled family honeymoon in May and have a package for 4 nights/ 5 days at Disney with UPH passes. I am also going in October with my daughter and possibly my nephew. Now my sister-in-law to be has been such a trooper helping me out with my wedding even though she is not my MOH. (She lives in BC) So I am now thinking of a girl's long weekend trip to WDW in September for just her and me... my treat!
If I am going to be there that many times, I want to know if I can exchange my UPH pass for an annual pass and just pay the difference?
Does anyone know?
Any suggestions? Advice?

Neat, sounds like fun! :sunny: SIL is gonna deserve a nice treat after all her help with the Wedding.

Here is what Deb's AllEarsNet.com has to say about upgrading UPHs:
I am getting a Unlimited Park Hopper when I go to Disney this time. Can I have this upgraded to an annual pass if I decide I want to return before a year is up?

Yes and no. Yes if you purchase your UPH at resort check in or add to a room only reservation prior to arrival. Your AP will be backdated to the first day of the UPH. No if you purchased your UPH as part of a specially priced vacation package (Dream Maker, Fairytale, etc). Tickets that are part of a package are never upgradeable.
I lifted that directly from the tix FAQ.

If it were me, I think I might get everyone else their UPHs (using your DVC discount of course) or PHPs, but get yourself an AP. And this way you get to take advantage of both the DVC and the UPH discounts. Plus, the September AP hotel discounts are gonna come out some day, so maybe you could do a discounted concierge stay for you and SIL, if you're really going whole hog, or just save a bit of $$.

Good luck with everything (esp. the wedding :bride: )!
