advice and a vent

Had a wonderful week at Disney earlier this month. Now that I have finally settled back into real life and done my Christmas shopping, I'd like to offer a tiny piece of advice to every going to DW. If you are using the Photopass photographers, take a second and write down the code from the cards as soon as you get them. I used 3 different ones during our trip. I was very careful to keep them in the same pocket of my bag the entire week. Once I forgot to get it out right away so the photographer gave me another. And once I had left my bag on the stroller with my dh. I just grabbed a card out and used them all several times. When I got home and took them out of the bag to download, I only had 2. I've gone through my stuff so many times and can't find it. Of course, all the picture I can remember that I really wanted were on that card! The last ones taken were with Santa and fortunately, I decided to buy them right then, but several others are gone. My dh called me on my cell while I was putting it away after seeing Santa and I must of set it down or dropped it. Had I written the numbers down, I could still be able to see those pictures.

Now for my vent. Shouldn't they have planned out the pictures from MVMCP enough to know not to put my daughters face where they would be printing at the bottom! Just kind of made me mad to get them in and have the word "Merry" printed on her face.

Thats exactly why I placed my return address on mine with my e-mail address, I learned the hard way when there this past May,I kept all pic on one card and the day before we left a photographer forgot to give it back to me. ( my fault as well for not remembering) so when I went back in Oct, the first thing I did was place a return label on the front of the card. You would not believe how many photographers commented on what a great idea I had.
It's very disheartening to lose the card that you know had some great pic on it..

you know you may still be able to find those lost pic. When you log on there is a lost card or missing pic link and they will try to locate them for you.I think they ask for some time and park details and a recent photo to help them locate them.
