Good luck everyone in completing your "background" papers.

Is this something new this year? Is it general info that they are seeking regarding your background with Disney travel, and perhaps more details about the applicants and their families?

I guess this means there likely won't be any decisions for awhile then. Did they let anyone know when decisions would be announced?

The same thing happened to me I called the PR phone # that originally called me to set up the interview. They gave me an account # to bill it to and an address to mail it to. I'll send you a PM.

In case some of the finalists (and everyone else posting and lurking!) aren't on facebook, I wanted to pass along a nice note that Lou Mongello posted on the Disney World Moms Panel fan page...

Good luck to all the round 3 folks. Disney Dad here who made it to round 2, but not round 3. I just joined the Facebook site! While I must admit I'm envious of the round 3 people, I wish you all the best of luck...I'm sure you ALL did fine - I always second guess what I say in general, but always trust in yourself!!!!

It technically should not be considered lurking, because I actually posted last weekend, asking if there was any Fairy Godmother / Pixie Dust chance that I could still receive an interview even though I had not been contacted by Saturday.

The incredible news came after I had my slump of , then got my good luck groove going for all the finalists ! Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday flew by doing all my usual kids, husband, work, get ready for Halloween, get ready for family portraits....stuff, stuff, stuff...then it happened! I was contacted via email by the PR firm when I checked my home email around 7:30 pm Wednesday Night - and my interview was late Thursday afternoon!!!!

Interview had its highs and lows - I think I did OK thinking through what I believe is so great about the panel and how I could contribute, but I should have committed more thought/time to all of the Disney planning I have done to bring top of mind the details.

Anyway - please add me to the list of happily waiting and hoping - and sending good vibes out to each of you!

Congratulations, Dianne! How exciting for you. I'm sure you did wonderfully. I think most of us are recapping the interview over and over and wishing we had said a few other things. It was a short period of time and I'm glad they also have our essays to show "who" we are.
