I just did an interview with Scott Powers from the Orlando Sentinel earlier this week. I believe Erin and Darcie from the WDW Moms Panel also spoke with him. He's doing an article on the 2009 search and was touching base with a few of us from 2008. Better get in your applications before that article comes out!

If anyone sees the article, please let me know! I'm hoping that I didn't sound too Goofy!

I can't remember what it was about, but I remember everyone on here talking about it, and I didn't get it.

I know, I know--that's no help at all, but I know this is the 2nd one I didn't get.

I wonder if they are pulling from different lists or have broken up the original list somehow...

Try logging in and see what happens...

I didn't get the e-mail, but when I logged in w/my Disney password, it came right up.

Some of Disney's announcements for the 2009 contest specifically state that you will become part of the Mickey Moms Club just by entering the contest.

So, yes (but also wishing you the best!! ).

Do you suppose they start reading them right away, or do they wait until the deadline? I bet it would be hard to wait...What a fun job!!

I got the email about the new web site. It's pretty cool! I wish we could have a cute T-shirt with the logo on it. It would be great marketing to wear around the parks!!

I'm sure they start reading them right away. Too many apps not too. I'm kinda glad that it hasn't closed yet that means less people then they expected applied which means a better chance for those of us that did..

I'm very sad. I was in Mickey Moms Club - received my packet and some of the newsletters. I'm not sure when they stopped coming, but I realized several months ago that it had been awhile.

Today, a friend (who posts on this thread) forwarded the email to me and when I tried to log in, here's the message I got:

"Mickey Moms Club Members Only!
Sorry, you've reached the members-only Mickey Moms Club. Entry is restricted to members who qualified through application for the Walt Disney World® Moms Panel. Though new membership is currently closed, registration will open to the public in the future. Stay tuned!

Meanwhile, you have successfully logged in to Walt Disney World."
