Wow PoohMom, I wanted to wish you a FABULOUS and magical trip. I can't wait to hear all about it!

I've been "running" in preparation for September's EE 5K. I don't like it but I'm pushing myself.

I recently switched our September lodging from AKL to CBR. Decided to save some money (used the Disney Visa discount) and...check out the new pool which hopefully will be unveiled prior to our arrival. I think my son will love it.

I'm working on our January trip plans. I just made all of our ADRs. I'm really looking forward to our 17th anniversary dinner at Artist Point on the 25th. Just me and my dh. Our son will dine with his Nana (my mother in law) that night. I can't belive that it's been 7 years since we renewed our vows in WDW.

So remind me, who is going to be in WDW over Expedition Everest weekend and where are you staying?

Not to worry! At the bottom left-hand corner of each person's post, there's a little circle. It's dimmed (gray) if that person is offline. It's lit (green) if he/she is online. (I believe there are ways to hide this feature, although I'm not sure how to do it...)

While we are a little OT, I thought you all might enjoy this little story about childhood games. The other morning my youngest was pinching her arm. I asked her what she was doing, as I just had to know. Then she said, "How do you pick up your shadow?" I didn't laugh with her at that moment, in case you were interested. I saved it for later. I thought it was really cute! I think I have a little Peter Pan fan on my hands!

Last weekend we had a fun little lesson about the sun's movement through the sky. We traced our shadows in the driveway at different times of the day. (An idea from a friend of mine)

I haven't yet worked out how to pick them up.
