Poor Kathryn. She had her birthday party today at a ceramics painting place. We invited 6 girls plus Kathryn and Alana. Only 1 girl showed up and she was 1/2 hour late. I felt so bad for Kathryn, she was close to tears. She kept looking out the door looking for people. I just don't understand people. We didn't even get RSVP's from people except for the one that showed up. She had been so excited about the party and then was so down. Andrew, the other girls Mom and I ended up painting too.
ETA- Her "best friend" just called. I told her we missed her at the party, her response was 'yeah, I'm sorry. I had to go somewhere.' I just told her I'd let Kathryn know she called.

no, it was the 5th. It just worked out better to have the party today.

I felt more awake this morning and my DH said I didn't move around as much or snore. It's going to take a bit to get used to having the mask on.

ETA- Her "best friend" just called. I told her we missed her at the party, her response was 'yeah, I'm sorry. I had to go somewhere.' I just told her I'd let Kathryn know she called.

That's the icing on the cake of rudeness.

Took two of the kids to Wholefoods Market, which was mobbed. Zach had requested to go since he's on a healthy food kick. Then we went to Costco, which was the usual crazy weekend busy. We had fun, anyway. Zach is making stir fry for dinner. Eating red pepper hummus right now.

Hi...the super busy day continues...just got back from my aniversary dinner and I'm trhing to keep the kids from killing each other for another hour before I head out to a party.

Caro...that so totally sucks!!!! Give her birthday wishes from me and trip the friends the next time you see them and tell them that's from me and they're lucky I'm so far away and can't kick their little butts personally.
